Brian Ducksworth

Greetings,

I would like to welcome the opportunity to meet new, exciting and positive people. My name is Brian, I am currently challenging my conviction in Federal Court, so that I can share my experience to help others. Since my incarceration, I have used my time to further educate myself. I am a graduate of Blackstone Career Institute (Paralegal), a member of the Jailhouse Lawyer Initiative (JLI). They are based in New York, NY and advocate, empower, and support people that are interested in equal justice. I am also a proud member of the Peer Support Community, certified through the Wisconsin Dept of Health Services (Treatment/Recovery). In the free world, I enjoy traveling, music, and hanging out with friends. What are some of your hopes, dreams, and goals? I look forward to the future. My past is behind me, I only have one request! Don’t judge this book by it’s cover, keep an open mind and an open heart. I am much more than a stigma, stereotype, or label. I really enjoy good conversations that lift your spirits in laughter! The type that turns a bad day into a great one. If you would like to get to know more of me, make it happen! Before I go, I’d like to say thank you for stopping by. Take Care.
